First-Year Graduate

Graduate students must be registered for classes to be eligible for an RUconnection card.

Graduate students have access to Rutgers University libraries, computer labs, recreation centers, RU Express accounts, and meal plans via their RUconnection card.

First-Year Graduate Student RUconnection cards may be obtained:

• One week prior to the start of classes
• At any RUconnection card office (no appointment necessary)
• With a valid government-issued form of photo ID such as a driver's license or passport*
• At no charge for the first issue of this card
• The card will be issued immediately

• Immediately in office
• With a form from the Graduate Housing Office
• At any RUconnection card Office (no appointment necessary)
• With a valid government-issued form of photo ID such as a driver's license or passport*
• At no charge for the first issue of this card

*Photocopies will not be accepted
